Salary to £89,500 dependent on skills and experience

Reporting to the Category Leadership Director, this role is responsible for delivering best in class category leadership with our priority partner customers to deliver a step change in Mars, category and customer growth, and secure long term engagement with the customer.





Using a mix of market, shopper and customer insights to identify category growth partnership opportunities, the role leverages / executes these through excellence in all Category Leadership initiatives, tactics and practices, bringing appropriate challenge back to the business to represent key customer point of view. Given the complexity of channel and customer contacts within the accounts, this role is expected to step change the focus and platforms for collaboration beyond just category, embedding clear long term working relationships, and pioneering key thought leadership projects between mars and the customer for mutual gain. Key deliverables of the role are delivered via co-creation of category vision with the account to define a joint long term picture of success, and to implement key initiatives in collaboration with the category leadership manager as well as set standards against which they will coach the wider Strategic demand team. 





Adapt and Deploy Category Vision

Delivery of a 3 year Category Vision for Tesco including Shelf Vision (Perfect Store) to influence internal and external business priorities leading to category growth.
Ensure ‘The Category First’, Category growth and objectivity are at heart of all interactions with Tesco / ASDA & Morrisons, building key strategic relationships, and providing opportunities for deeper connection with the account
Ensure UK Category and Customer Marketing agenda is at the centre of business & customer planning by representing the key view of partner customers back to the business.
Deliver the category vision into the account, including physical availability and best in class execution of our brands.
Tailor and develop pioneering channel specific solutions for for mutual category growth,
