Change and Communications Specialist
Up to £440 per day
6 month contract
Role based in Cambridge

A great opportunity for a motivated and experienced business communications and change specialist with a track record of successfully implementing change and communications plans and associated activities in large, complex, multi-site organizations.

Based on Success Factors technology, this year we are implementing system and process changes that will deliver standardized global processes, improved data integrity and security, and an enhanced employee experience. It's a fast-paced change program that requires a structured approach to reach our global user base.

This role will be based in Cambridge, you will report to the Business Change Lead for the program and work closely with the program team and business stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

Own the program communications strategy and plan in conjunction with the Change Lead
Ensure the program and its activities are successfully communicated to stakeholders
Plan, edit and write content for a variety of internal communications mediums, such as a staff intranet, regular email bulletins and stakeholder briefings. You may also be required to work on the layout of content
Keep stakeholders abreast of progress and answer their questions
Draft messages or scripts for senior executives for presentation to employees in written or spoken form
Ensure program communications messages are consistent across all mediums, whilst recognizing when there are needs to tailor.
Respond to feedback from stakeholders and adjust communications content accordingly
Manage business change activities as a result of program initiatives and formulate strategy and approach to deliver the change effectively, identifying when there are additional communications needs
Assist in measuring the delivery of program benefits through business change utilising effective feedback mechanisms and engagement approaches
Support development and delivery of the change management and business readiness plans with the business areas.
Identify potential risks, issues and dependencies of the change, and help monitor them.
Support the project team to deliver engagement activities to maintain quality and avoid risks to the project's reputation.

Skills and experience

You can demonstrate experience in taking technical content and developing end user communications
You have a track record of developing communication plans in support of technology change programs
You have an understanding and experience of Change Management methodology
You can demonstrate how you translate change impacts into workable change and communications plans
Demonstrated ability to write succinct communications messaging, and engaging presentations to a broad range of audiences.
Experience in tracking and measuring the success of communications plans and impact of communication program
Ability to operate dynamically in an environment of change and manage and prioritize multiple channels of work and ensure sound governance
