We are looking for a talented Registered Children’s Home Manager living close to the Kirkby area of Merseyside. This is a hugely exciting opportunity to be a part of a brand-new children’s home service and play a key role in creating a positive future for children living with Emotional Behavioural Difficulties (EBD).

This is an exciting opportunity to join a special service who put the children they support at the heart of all they do. They aim to create a caring environment that every child deserves in order to reach their goals. We’re looking to recruit a manager with a track record of "Outstanding" or "Good" rating.

As their Registered Manager, you will autonomy to put your own stamp on the role and you will be pivotal in getting the home up and running. You will be responsible for up to 6 young people, creating a positive environment and therapeutic care to help each young person achieve their goals and reach developmental milestones in their lives. You will lead your team to ensure that all the individual needs of the children are met at all times.

What experience and qualifications are required?

- You will need to hold a Level 5 Leadership & Management or equivalent
- You will need to have a minimum of two years management experience of working within a Childrens Residential Setting.
- You will also have evidence of at least 2 Ofsted inspections;
- Above all, you will have a passion for improving the lives of vulnerable young people and creating a brighter future for every child.
