Description

Living WageRenfrewshire Council supports payment of the Living Wage of £9.07 per hour as the minimum level of remuneration to its employees. Therefore, successful applicants will be paid the ‘Living Wage’ - (the Hourly Rate for the post + a Living Wage Pay Supplement, in order to bring their earnings to £9.07 per hour).

This post is internal and open to employees of Renfrewshire Council only.

Based at Renfrew High School, Haining Road, Renfrew.

You will be required to work as part of a team, supporting the Education Support Manager/Team Leader, to provide a comprehensive and effective administrative service within the school.

Main duties of the post are: word processing, computer data input, telephone and reception duties, mail, photocopying, cash handling and any other duties as delegated.

You should have: a working knowledge of Click n Go or willing to under go training; the ability to work under pressure; previous clerical experience and be able to operate a computer/word processor, numeracy and literacy skills, and effective first line contact skills are essential.

Possession of an SVQ Level II in Administration would be advantageous.
