Clerk of Works, £40,000 - £45,000
Site-based (Hertfordshire & Cambridgeshire), with occasional visits to Head Office in North Kent
Our client,a construction consultancy based in North Kent are recruiting for an experienced Clerk of Works.
Hours and benefits:
Hours: 09.00 - 17.00, Monday to Friday
Holidays: From 24 days per annum, rising to 30 days depending on length of service

- The work will involve undertaking regular inspections of construction work to monitor progress, verifying compliance with contractual drawings, specifications, warranty standards and employer's requirements, identifying discrepancies, preparing written reports with supporting photographs on weekly intervals and organising snagging and "end of defects" inspections with the Client in attendance
The right candidate will have/be:
- Able to demonstrate experience in both new-build and refurbishment, predominantly housing, liaising with Building Contractors and preparing reports for Contract Administrators / Project Managers
- Previous experience working as a Clerk of Works, preferably qualified (MICWCI) and a CSCS Card holder, capable of working under their own initiative and as part of a group
