We are looking for enthusiastic individuals to join our team of Clinical Trials Associates (CTA). This is an excellent opportunity to gain experience and grow within an industry leading research environment.

This post would ideally suit someone with a life sciences degree looking to break into clinical research, or perhaps a Nurse or Pharmacist (not necessarily registered in the UK) who is interested in a career in the research field.

The right candidates will be expected undergo intensive training and examination to ensure that they reach the high standards of performance necessary for the conduct of their duties within what is a heavily regulated industry.

Your tasks will include interaction with study volunteers and collaborators to facilitate the efficient running of each trial, performing clinical tasks (such as ECG, vital signs and blood sampling) and maintaining records when a trial is in progress.

In addition candidates will be involved in data QC (Quality Control), query generation and resolution of study Case Report Forms (CRFs). Candidates will also be provided training in Immediate Life Support.

CTA's at Richmond Pharmacology are responsible for maintaining a clean and efficient ward environment (we have three wards including a dedicated screening ward), so you will also be expected to make sure that the ward remains fully fit for use at all times for the benefit of trial volunteers. It is also likely that you will assist in dosing rounds and managing the food intake of volunteers to ensure compliance with trial protocols.

Applicants must be fluent in English both oral and written. Attention to detail, self-motivation, enthusiasm and the ability to work well in a team are essential.
