Description

Job Title: Collections Coach

Location: Cardiff

Salary: Up to £28,000 and discretionary annual bonus

Hours: Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm (will be required to be flexible)

About the role of Collections Coach

The Collections department is responsible for helping customers who may find themselves in arrears or facing difficulty with their finance agreement. The department has a huge impact on the success of the business, and they are looking for individuals who can make a difference.

Collection Coaches assist with the ongoing coaching, training and development of staff within the Collections function and ensure training and development is successfully translated from theory into practice with an objective assessment of staff competency.

Responsibilities and experience required for the role of Collections Coach


- Assist with the ongoing coaching, training and development of staff within the collections function
- Support the Collections Trainer in the delivery of training sessions as and when required
- Supporting colleague to understand the importance of reaching fair outcomes with customers
- Working in partnership with external training providers where necessary
- Working with a variety of Collections managers and team leaders to assist with one to one and group-based coaching through a wide range of methodologies
- Adapting coaching style to best suit the people you are coaching, looking for innovative ways to ring to live their approach to collections and to ensure information is retained through ongoing support

Experience required for the role of Collections Coach


- A min of 6 months experience in a regulated collections environment
- Experience of coaching and mentoring within a contact centre environment
- Knowledge of best proactive in coaching and how to plan and implement an effective session
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, recognising the best approach to take for a wide variety of people
