The primary objective of this role is to support the Commercial team to provide financial input to deliver strategic plans and financial goals. The role will be pivotal for communication between the Commercial team and the Finance team to ensure accuracy of revenue; and will also work with operational and other head office teams. The role will focus on inputting into Cygnet’s fee strategy, budgeting, identifying opportunities for increased revenue, leading any funding disputes, working on a model of Cygnet’s residential services, fee analysis and reporting. The role will aid the delivery of the company strategy; ensuring that a definitive record of Cygnet’s fees is available across the organisation. Cygnet is seeking an Accountant (Qualified or QBE) to strengthen its effective commercial function. This is a new role with the ability to add significant value to the organisation and offer professional development for the successful applicant.


Summary of Responsibilities


To own and maintain Cygnet’s Master Funding document


To lead on updating Cygnet’s customer contracts; inputting into the annual pricing strategy


Reporting, including owning and maintaining Cygnet’s annual fee uplift tracker


To identify opportunities for increased revenue including the identification of low fee paying service users


To lead on any funding disputes as they arise


To lead on developing a system that considers Cygnet’s referral pipeline in the context of current placements/ fees


To review fee breakdown documentation provided by the Commercial Finance team


To produce fee breakdown documentation and fee structures for tenders and frameworks
