Supporting service areas across the Council, this role will be responsible for taking the communication strategy for a particular campaign and executing it. The role will be varied, interesting and will provide candidates a real opportunity to develop their communications skills across a wide range of disciplines from marketing and internal comms to crisis management.

We are seeking candidates with well-rounded communications skills, a willingness to learn and the ability to produce content for different audiences across different channels including digital and social media.

The successful candidate will be part of an ambitious department looking to achieve award winning communications and to make a difference to lives of the 220k Swindon residents.

We're looking for talented people with the curiosity, tenacity and drive to help deliver more of the great comms work that earned us a gold and silver award in the CIPR Pride awards 2018, and a gold award in 2016 Public Service Communications Awards.

You must be fluent in the English language (as a requirement of Part 7 of the Immigration Act - for the effective performance of a customer-facing role).
