The role

We are hiring for a Communications Manager to join our team. This role works closely with the Head of Communications and the Junior Communications Executive to deliver impactful internal and external communications that positively engage and inform our people, clients (agencies, specialists) and partners.

The Communications Manager role has a strong internal focus and proactively develops, delivers and evaluates internal communications through appropriate channels. In addition, the role will also be responsible for developing and delivering external communications using the full breadth of the communication portfolio (including press, newsletters, social and online marketing) to promote key messaging.

What are we looking for?

As our ideal candidate, you will have excellent writing skills including the ability to write in a business and consumer-facing style. You will have excellent grammar, punctuation and accuracy, along with the ability to write press releases and identify and craft news stories, which are essential in this role.

Proven experience in internal communications and/or public relations is essential to the role, as well as the ability to generate and implement creative ideas for engaging and informing staff and stakeholders. We are looking for someone with excellent communication and influencing skills at all levels, who is diplomatic and flexible with a supportive and helpful manner.

A good understanding of the media and advertising industry would be advantageous and an understanding of corporate responsibility is highly desirable.
