About the role

Working so that we meet and operate in accordance with the requirements of BS EN standards as well as customer agreed specifications, you'll develop effective working relationships with both our commercial and operational teams around the business, providing technical support to ensure finished product quality and conformance.

Key responsibilities will include

*

To undertake materials testing of plastic and hardened concrete

*

To support the business with visits to customer sites to investigate technical or quality queries or failures

*

Assisting with the investigation of customer complaints

*

Working closely with the technical, commercial and operations teams, supporting, advising and providing technical guidance to ensure the company adheres to minimum legal and product standard requirements at optimum cost

*

Involvement in new product development trials and laboratory testing

*

Product training and demonstrations - both onsite and off site

*

Ensure the maintenance of good quality records of all test results, observations and remarks

*

Ensure plant prepared concrete cubes are transported to relevant test house in a timely manner

What will you bring?

A highly motivated self starter with the ability to work effectively with a range of people

Robust planning and organisation skills

*

Technically proficient and capable of influencing those around you

*

Experience/knowledge and practical application of concrete materials and testing.

IT literate with the ability to operate systems effectively

*

A full driving licence with the requirement to be mobile to cover the geographic area of responsibility (As applicable)
