Description

To provide managerial support and assistance to the Head of Private Client and Trusts and other senior members of the Channel Islands team. Experience of UK personal tax advisory and compliance, taxation of offshore trust and company structures and UK taxation of non-UK domiciled individuals is required. An exceptional opportunity to progress within a growing team.

Responsibilities
Working primarily with local fiduciary companies servicing a diverse portfolio of offshore trust and company structures. There will also be opportunities to advise high net worth individuals, including UK resident non-UK domiciled individuals
Assisting with trust and company UK income tax, capital gains tax and inheritance tax compliance functions
Preparation of ad-hoc tax advice in relation to offshore trust and company structures and high net worth individuals
Assisting with the monitoring of working capital in relation to the team’s portfolio
Assisting senior members of the team with business development and the production of technical publications
Person specification
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, are essential
Experience / Qualifications:
Knowledge of UK personal tax and offshore trust structures is required
Knowledge of Guernsey/Jersey tax would be an advantage but not essential
ATT or CTA qualified or hold an equivalent qualification
