Content and Communications Manager


I am currently looking for Content and Communications Manager to join an established business based in central Manchester. The business has recently gone through an exciting re-branding exercise and is now driving forwards into 2020! The right candidate will be responsible for taking ownership of communications and content activity across the business, having a strong impact on content creation and the distribution of both internal and external communications. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who loves to create content and is looking to operate at a senior level in an autonomous role.

Responsibilities:


- Create content for both internal and external communications, across a range of channels
- Devise innovative and engaging forms of content and communications
- Lead employee engagement activity developing a variety of communications from thought leadership, through to blogs and more
- Take ownership of aligning the new brand values across the business and transferring these further to existing and new customers externally
- Ensure all communications are aligned to the correct tone and brand message
- Support the creation of content for all bid activities
- Take ownership of external agencies and relationships Essential skills:


- An excellent background within communications and content creation
- A passion for creating engaging and innovative content across a range of channels
- Strong knowledge of digital channels and new/innovative communications technology
- Excellent ability to work in an autonomous nature and report into a larger group organisation
- Creative approach to the types of content that can be created and how this will engage with new and existing customers
- B2B PR experience would be beneficial but not essential
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- Positive and enthusiastic attitude
