Content Marketing Manager
Tay House, Glasgow
initial 6 month contract
You will support the Head of Marketing for Smart Investor and Savings to deliver world class global marketing activity to drive the Barclays brand and reputation across Barclays UK, in the Wealth & Investments, Premier and Community segments. You will deliver integrated marketing communications to drive business-led targets in a fast OCE&Cd environment with a Marketing team who are responsible for delivering insight driven, highly creative, commercially focused marketing activity.
You will have specific responsibilities in delivering world-class content marketing to aid acquisition and retention of customers.
What will you be doing?
Support Head of Marketing/Head of Content & Client Communications for Smart Investor to integrated campaigns and best in class customer experience that supports:
Collaboration across all functions to deliver an effective marketing strategy to meet business objectives
Budget management – manage all creative resources both internal and external
Delivery of editorial article production and video content across Smart Investor businesses, to aid retention and encourage acquisition
Creation of compelling weekly email communications, using topical content and insight to inspire investment actions from customers
Creation of ad-hoc email communications to support market changes and government announcements
Facing off to the business - executive presentations on content approaches and ongoing reporting and analysis, both weekly and monthly
Creation of compelling organic content, and working alongside our social media team to amplify content to paid audiences
To work collaboratively across our Content teams, Barclays Investment Solutions (BIS), Social, Premier, Brand, CCSP and Digital teams to ensure a consistent and powerful presentation of the Barclays brand across multi-channel campaigns
To support the continued rollout of the new proposition and supporting content for product launches
Support legal changes by creating educational content and client communications
Manage content demand from key stakeholders across the Smart Investor business
What we’re looking for:
Experience in delivering effective marketing plans
Experience in generating value from marketing activity with a strong commercial acumen underpinned by a grasp of monitoring, measurement and evaluation of activity and demonstration of ROI.
Excellent stakeholder management skills. Ability to clearly communicate complex material to audiences (up to Director and MD level) so that complex and critical strategic projects are accepted and acted upon
Skills that will help you in the role:
Knowledge of customer and client segment marketing and its impact on the customer experience.
Excellent communication, presentation and writing skills
Demonstrates excellent commercial and financial awareness
Experience at planning, organising, and budgeting. Negotiation and influencing
Experience in marketing investment products preferred but not essential
