About CRA Management
The team provides a focus on BUK’s CRA processes, both in terms of our contractual and reciprocity commitments to share with the CRAs and the services provided by the CRAs that are utilised within the Bank. CRA data, including risk scores and its utilisation is increasingly under scrutiny by UK Government and regulators, with the supply of Commercial data now mandatory in Law and the U.K. Government’s aim to utilise the data to help "thaw" wholesale funding markets for banks by helping to determine the likely future performance of the loan
What will you be doing?
Support strategic direction on aspects of bureau management, covering the Bank’s relationship with the 3 main Credit Reference Agencies (CRAs) – Experian, Equifax and Call Credit and smaller CRAs as designated. The main accountabilities of the role are as follows:
What we’re looking for:
Analytical or querying software such as SAS, Teradata SQL with a demonstrable knowledge of analysis,
Experience of customer life-cycles – Acquisition, Customer & Account Management, Collections and Recoveries
Excellent business analysis and gap analysis skills
Excellent documentation skills
Stakeholder Management and Leadership
The role will require interaction with, both internal and external Stakeholders; the role holder will be required to instigate, cultivate and manage relationships with:
Compliance, Data and Sales teams from all 3 major and other designated CRAs
Key business functions pertinent to CRA processes, such as Data Privacy, Compliance.
Build and maintain relationships with Product and Operatons teams in relation to the wider processes that impact CRA reporting
Key project resource such as workstream leads, Project Managers or Test Managers.
Function Heads within Risk, Finance and Sourcing
External industry groups such as UK Finance, SCOR
Skills that will help you in the role:
Knowledge of Project Management techniques such as requirements gathering and testing.
Exposure to compliance and regulatory adherence
