Credit Control & Sales Ledger Assistant - Urgently Required

Temporary, for approx. 5-6 Months

£10.00 - £11.50 per hour + holiday pay

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an experienced Credit Control & Sales Ledger Assistant, based on the out-skirts of Cardiff. The position is being offered on temporary basis to cover the remainder of a maternity contract. The suitable candidate will possess a can-do attitude and enjoy working to tight deadlines.

Working as part of a friendly finance team, the successful candidate will be required to operate the sales ledger, ensuring efficient and effective account management, and invoicing and credit control.

The role would suit an individual that has worked within a similar role and is flexible and happy to help team members at busy periods.

Main Purpose of Job: To provide a professional and timely accounting service in respect to processing of all applications and invoices to clients and the efficient collection debt Contacts and liaises with budget-holders for submission of applications and collection of debt Liaises with employees at all levels within the organisation Liaise with clients to resolve queries Ensure that the Sales Ledger is accurately maintained and collection deadlines are met Ensure client debts are paid in accordance with agreed terms and conditions, or in accordance with best practice

Accounts Receivable Monthly processing of applications for payment, liaising with the project team to ensure the accuracy of the applications Processing GRNI's Daily filing of payment certificates and the issuing of Sales invoices on Self-billing accounts Monthly reconciliation Reconcile Aged Debtors to Debtors Control Account Process Credit Checks on Clients

Credit Control Issue monthly statements to clients Issue overdue debt letters to clients Chasing debtors Providing feedback and input to the weekly debtors meeting and follow up required actions

Skills/Qualifications Graduate and/or AAT Qualified - minimum experience of 3 Years Demonstrate accuracy and attention to detail Intermediate Excel skills Excellent Communication skills
