An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Credit Control Supervisor based in the Castleford area.
It is a great chance to join a well-established finance team at a supportive organisation.
Strong written and communication skills are essential to this role as their will be a focus on building relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
The role involves management of one of person although the team is subject to growth and so long term wise this is likely to increase.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the full credit control process, which includes:
Building up strong relationships with new and existing clients.
Discussing and setting up payment plans with customers
Dealing with complex customer queries and processing debit notes to ensure prompt payment
Accurately allocating payments onto the customers sales ledger
Setting up new accounts/checking credit records/maintaining clients records
Preparing invoices and credit notes as required.
Following the company's cash collection policies and procedures.
Collating and reviewing information in relation to the ledger and reporting any issues.
Reviewing client debt reports and identifying problematic accounts
Maintaining regular contact with customers to ensure payment terms are kept to a minimum.
Working towards targets and KPI's.
Other ad-hoc tasks as required including invoice coding and running system reports.

The ideal candidate will have:
Excellent communications skills.
Previous management experience.
Experience of the full credit control process.
Strong Microsoft Excel skills.
A confident approach to dealing with clients.
