Job Title: Credit Risk Business Analyst BA4
Location: Glasgow
Risk, Finance and Treasury (“RFT”) is a global team of around 4,000 spanning 12 countries. The goal is to deliver a simplified and standardised architecture across these functions, utilising existing ‘best in class’ technology components to support the delivery of a robust end-to-end control environment, reduce operating costs and support capital efficiency to meet known regulatory requirements and prepare for future change.
Your Role.
Working closely with the IB Risk Lead and SME’s, the successful candidate will assist with the day to day delivery and implementation of projects within RFT
Liaise with the Design authority and IT teams within RFT to ensure that all new components fit within guiding principles.
Follow good processes and practices, as defined by the team standards; ensuring that documentation is complete, comprehensive and signed off.
Ability to work independently and to tight deadlines.
Candidate should be assisting with the prioritization and planning of key deliverables.
Review documentation and provide feedback for components that are being implemented on the project.
Participate in the testing cycle and own the resolution of defects pertaining to requirement and design clarifications.
Raise key issues and risks in a timely manner to the Project Manager/Delivery Lead.
Essential Skills
Experience in working in a Credit Risk domain.
Experience of leading requirement gathering, analysis, engagement with development team and testing, from inception to production.
Providing support and resolving issues for systems in production.
Experience of working with SQL Queries.
Desirable Skills
Professional qualifications (e.g. CFA, FRM)
Experience in delivering projects using an Agile methodology.
Experience of Risk Weighted Assets
