Job Title: Customer Operations Advisor (retail energy)

Salary: £23-24K

Location: Chesterfield

Role Purpose:

Do you have experience in industry-facing customer services operations in retail energy? Working for an exciting, new SME energy supplier you will deliver and optimise e2e operations for B2B customers. This is an industry facing / back office role and will include all aspects of customer operations, through management of exceptions and process activity. Ideally you will have worked for an energy supplier in either registrations, metering, read validation, billing or settlements. Job Responsibilities:


- Support delivery of first-class Customer Service, though managing the customers throughout their operational life cycle
- Operational activity such as registrations, metering, billing or settlements
- Help to build strong relationships with customers and deliver 1st class service.
- Improve current processes for customer satisfaction
- Process management, including process improvement and optimisation
- Manage internal and external relationships including 3rd parties
- File flow and exceptions management
- Take full ownership of customer queries providing the best outcome

Experience Required:


- Back office / industry retail supplier experience ideally
- Innovative and creative thinking - finds smart solutions to problems
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-changing environment
- Experience with the UK Gas and Elec industry desirable
- Analytical experience and technical ability to understand complex issues
- Ability to work with different systems and processes, and liaise with different departments
