Service Controller

Your will ensure all planned services and breakdowns of our assets are swiftly handled and assist the Service Support Manager in ensuring tight control of all administration

You will:

• Co-ordinate an efficient service,
• Control the workshop, mobile and third-party engineers
• Receive all breakdown calls and allocate engineers/service agents
• Ensuring that programmed maintenance, breakdown and damage repairs are smoothly controlled and properly authorised, documented and recorded on the computerised maintenance system
• Control costs without adversely affecting safety or customer service standards or the quality of the hire fleet and in accordance with manufacturers’ recommendations and legislative requirements


To be successful in this role:

• You will have a full, valid UK driving licence
• Experience in a service and maintenance environment is preferable
• Experience of working on, or in, the Forklift Truck and material handling industry is desirable


• Be a confident communicator with an excellent telephone manner


• Have strong PC skills and experience with Microsoft Office
• Excellent negotiation and organisation skills
