This five-form entry primary school in Dagenham is currently seeking to employ a Learning Support Assistant to work across Early Years and KS1.
Your new role
As a Learning Support Assistant, you will support pupils with their academic development across the EYFS and KS1. You will implement IEP's, as set out by the SENCO each week. You will focus on Literacy and Numeracy development with the pupils, ensuring that their progress remains in line with their targets. You will write reports on the pupil's progress, ensuring that all areas for further development are reported to the class teacher. You will use academic resources and tools within your work to ensure that pupils are fully supported with their learning and development.
What you'll need to succeed
You will have previous experience working as a Learning Support Assistant within a primary school. You will hold a childcare related qualification at Level 2 or above. You will be a patient, reliable and flexible individual, with a passion for the education and welfare of all pupils. You will have strong behaviour management skills and experience using this across year groups.
