Role:Digital Communications Manager
Contract:Contract - (12 Months, Maternity Cover)

The role of the Digital Communications Manager is to lead on all digital content, communications and social media, bringing specialist knowledge and skills to the application and integration of digital channels. You will work with the Marketing & Communications Director to implement a digital communications strategy and be responsible for maintaining all digital channels. You need to work with appropriate external digital, advertising and creative agencies to deliver the strategy and have practical experience of developing digital, conversion focused content. Being highly organised you will need to plan, forecast and analyse campaigns and market activity to tight timescales.


*A knowledge of the full marketing mix including PR, social networking and offline/online communications
*Track record of managing website content and development at a strategic level
*Significant experience of email campaign design, delivery and management
*Experience of managing multiple social media platforms as a promotional tool
*Prior experience of using Google analytics and implementing improvements to digital presence

The successful applicant will be self-motivated with a 'can do', results driven approach. You need to have excellent attention to detail, robust organisational skills, managing and prioritising multiple projects and the ability to build and maintain strong working relationships with suppliers and colleagues.


-Work with the Marketing & Communications Director to develop and implement a digital content and communications strategy.
-Manage and support the maintenance of all channels and work with appropriate external digital and creative agencies and developers
where appropriate, to deliver this strategy.
-Manage the development and implementation of specific digital marketing campaigns in conjunction with the Corporate Marketing & Events Manager, Membership Marketing Manager and Press Officer.
-Produce creative and engaging conversion-focused content for all digital channels.
-Produce specific content for our suite of email communications and newsletters and manage distribution using Dotdigital.
-Oversee ongoing content development, management and optimise the corporate website, and any additional microsites, including adding
and updating content and identifying and implementing non-technical site enhancements.
-Manage all content on the website and appropriate associated websites, ensuring that content is timely and relevant and enhancing its
usability, accessibility and positioning on search engines.
-Manage all corporate social media accounts and channels overseeing all content and messaging.
-Oversee and project manage new website development projects and enhancements to the customer journey.
-Work effectively with colleagues on organisation-wide projects, supporting and managing staff working on digital content for other departments, generating appropriate, creative ideas, leading on digital support.
-Develop and lead the planning, design, and implementation of all digital reporting and evaluation.
-Analyse website and email statistics and data to optimise future marketing campaigns, content and design.
