Digital Marketing Officer
Job Description
Role: Digital Marketing Officer - New Business

Location: Reading office – with travel as required to Dublin and new stores 
Role Type:  Fixed term – 12 months
Reports to: Digital Marketing Manager
Purpose of role:
You will be primarily responsible for the execution of digital marketing activity to support our in-store new business partnerships. This will include writing marketing plans, creating content and promoting the services through digital channels such as Facebook events and ads.
Key Responsibilities:
To work with the Primark Marketing teams and New Business Development team to create, write, monitor and optimize event campaigns. You will work in various formats such as Canvas, Video, Lead Gen (across Facebook, Youtube, Twitter, Instagram and Snapchat,) to meet business objectives and drive people to in store partners, events and activations.
Assisting with the effectiveness of online campaigns, across SEO, Affiliate Marketing, Display Ads and PPC campaigns with specific focus on supporting in store activity and location marketing
Working with the digital marketing manager and creative team on campaigns, from conception to implementation, briefing the creative team on relevant assets needed for our paid activity
Working with analytics, metrics and dashboards, distributing this information via regular reporting to all key stakeholders and departments on a monthly basis
Identifying trends & opportunities from analysing social data gathered from campaign & web activities
Work with the Social Media team to cover and create content from and for new partner openings, launches and events
Work with Primark business partners and their teams to advise on content and marketing plans, including advising best practice for their own channels (ie. across Facebook, YouTube, Twitter, Instagram)
Briefing in creative departments and third parties for video and shoots
Advise the new business partners on Primark’s tone of voice and guidelines for social content creation
Assisting the implementation and administration of location marketing activity, working with retail and the new store openings team to make sure all information is relevant and up to date and we’re maximising all marketing opportunities
Work with the paid media team to manage Channel Partners to support digital marketing campaigns and activities (Yext, Facebook, Twitter, Google, Media partner)
Be responsible for tracking and analysing budgets on a weekly, monthly, campaign basis to report to the Primark and partner business stakeholders
Assist in the management of all our online customer touch points, such as Facebook locations
Research new developments and trends in digital marketing, communicate your findings to the team and develop ideas based on your findings
Support organic social media and digital marketing teams when required with adhoc projects
Knowledge, skills experience:
1-2 years' experience minimum, in online marketing, particularly social platforms
A solid understanding of social media platforms: Facebook, YouTube, Twitter, Pinterest, Instagram, Vine and Google+, as well as a keen interest in emerging platforms and live stream
Knowledge and understanding of the Yext platform would be advantageous
Proven track record using Business Manager, listening platforms such as Brandwatch and analytics platforms such as social bakers and Google Analytics
Clear experience producing social media content, both planned and reactive / live
Experience with stakeholder management between brands
Strong numerical and quantitative analysis skills
Excellent attention to detail and copy writing skills
Self-motivated, ability to work of own initiative and in a team environment
Strong organisational skills with the ability to work under pressure to tight deadlines
Photoshop experience would be advantageous
Attention to detail and ability to perform multiple tasks
A flexible, approachable attitude with good problem-solving skills
Excellent verbal communication and the ability to relay information to key stakeholders of all levels
