What will you be doing?
In this varied role you will provide technical and administrative support within the drainage team. This will involve supporting the delivery of all new development drainage assets via Developer Services activities, whilst providing a high standard of customer service to internal and external customers.
* Processing applications
* Answering customer calls and general enquiries
* Liaising with internal colleagues
* Compliance with Health & Safety requirements
* Maintaining up-to-date electronic systems and ensuring compliance with the Data Protection Act.
This role will involve technically vetting sewer connection applications, schemes proposed to be built over or near existing drainage assets and other ad hoc duties as required
What do you need?
Ideally with previous experience in a customer service role you will have excellent communication, administration and organisational skills. You will be a team player who is able to use your initiative and have a flexible approach to your work.
As this role will involve supporting multiple people, you will be able to demonstrate that you can adapt to change and be able to manage a demanding and conflicting workload. You will require a full driving licence for this role, therefore the status of your driving licence is likely to be checked. If you have an interest or experience in the field of Design, Engineering or Construction then this would be a benefit.
