Technical Manager – Duty Manager
The London Briodge experience and Tombs, a major London tourist attraction is looking for a new and energetic Manager to join its team, the role will hold the specific brief of the technical maintenance along with Duty Management responsibilities.

We’re looking for an individual with experience and knowledge of working in a hands-on maintenance and mechanical role who’s looking to develop into management. Knowledge of working with animatronics would be of benefit but not necessarily essential. The person we’re looking for needs to be flexible, keen to learn, hard working and above all someone with a real can do attitude.

This role is very varied and will also be responsible for being part of the duty management team, unlocking, managing staff and encouraging staff to hit targets. Knowledge and experience of leading a team would be of benefit.

As a dynamic company we would expect all staff at both senior and junior levels to roll up their sleeves and show a willingness to jump in and get involved be it changing a light bulb or more.

Between yourself and the other Duty Managers one of you will have to be onsite during operational hours meaning that weekend work will be unavoidable.
Required skills

experience of working and leading a team of staff.
Knowledge of general maintenance would be of benefit including electrical and animatronics.
experience of controlling staff and creating Rota’s.
Knowledge of using an EPOS based till systems would be beneficial but not essential.
Good working knowledge of computers including Microsoft Office.
Flexibility to work a variety of hours depending upon staffing, weekend work will be involved.

Core duties:

Being responsible for the overseeing of maintenance onsite including hands on repairs as well as working with external contractors to complete tasks and projects.
Operationally managing the overall site whilst Duty Manager including staff, complaints, incidents, sales and overall smooth running of the site.
