Sign - up of apprentices

Make contact as soon as application / enquiry is received and see through to accurately completed application pack as per national guidelines

Provide access to sign-up / induction Virtual Learning Environment and arrange and undertake a face to face sign-up visit with the learner and their line manager

Student Record Pack

Create and maintain student records as per national guidelines – ensuring always updated and compliant

Skills Days

Act as Teaching Assistant during the skills day training as per the programme in East Anglia

Attendance reporting

Keep accurate attendance records and email learner and line manager by 11am the day following any non-attendance

Red flag reporting

Each programme will have a number of requirements regarding evidence / portfolio submission and completion of knowledge tests etc via the vle – email the learner and the line manager the day following any non-completion to the deadlines and follow up accordingly ensuring all communications and actions are documented on the learner record

Monthly progress reports to line manager

Submit monthly progress reports to the apprentice line manager and other stakeholders as requested – format of standard reporting to be agreed nationally

Quarterly progress and portfolio reviews

Formally review the apprentices’ progress and portfolio quarterly at a face to face meeting with the apprentice and their line manager. Follow up with documented evidence of meeting and actions agreed and record on the learner file.

Manage Functional Skills

Manage the learner undertaking functional skills as required – this may include some one-to-one teaching if needed in Maths and English

Portfolio / evidence feedback

Keep to agreed Service Level Agreements’s for portfolio / evidence feedback ensuring feedback is constructive and self-reflection encouraged – badge evidence submitted as required ensuring development of key skills and behaviours is evidence clearly as the apprenticeship progresses]

Key Skills/Experience:

Essential: - Must be able to travel daily and have access to own car with clean driving licence as travel will be required across East Anglia

Ability to manage own workload

Effective communicator with excellent interpersonal skills

Strong organisational & time management skills

Computer literate

Confident and professional

Desirable

Good knowledge of apprenticeships

Understanding of Accountancy Professional Qualifications & Finance Industry
