Our client is an established and very successful manufacturing business and due to their continued success Staffbase have been appointed to recruit for the position of Electrical Maintenance Engineer

The successful applicant will undertake electrical maintenance client's busy production facility near Chesterfield.

The Role:

Reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor and working as part of the maintenance team you will be responsible for undertaking planned and reactive electrical maintenance activities covering a wide range of automated & semi-automated machinery.

Electrical maintenance of equipment and machinery including but not limited to the following;

- Electrical maintenance fault find and repair
- Furnaces (Induction, Rollover, Heat Treatment etc.)
- Conveyors , Vibrating screens
- PLC's and controls
- Distribution boards
- 3 -phase motors, inverters, servo drives
- Robots
- Relays, timers, sensors, switch gear
- Hydraulics, pneumatics, pumps, compressors


The successful candidate will have previous electrical maintenance experience in a manufacturing environemtn. Electrical engineers with previous heavy industry (waste & recycling, steel, quarry & aggregates, mining or foundry sectors) will have advantage however all applicants will be considered.

You will have good 3-phase electical fault find and repair skills and ideally with some plc diagnostic capabiltiies.

You will hold 17th / 18th Edition certification and you will have good knowledge of plc's and controls.

Hours of work:

Shifts 4 on 4 off (Days / Nights)
