As an expert in economic modelling, you will partner with the Health Economics (HE) function to create, investigate, analyse, advise, educate and develop strategies for generating appropriate economic evidence to support value dossier creation. Passionate about developing HE analyses, you will support the case for value on Gore’s Medical Products and will collaborate with all HE and Market Access (MA) functions. Your work will enable Provider Sales & Marketing teams to successfully execute our commercial strategies to drive profitable growth in a changing healthcare environment.

As part of the cross functional MA Team (Product Specialist/Product Manager, Strategic Marketer, HE, Clinical & Regulatory Affairs, etc.) you will provide input in support of the economic value story for MPD products. You will deliver economic value modelling projects for EMEA, and provide HE content for customer related materials. You will also engage in assessing what constitutes value, and what evidence is required to prove value, at a product level to Gore's customers, whilst working with the Health Economist and HE & Value Strategist teams to plan, build, populate, and run economic models. You will interpret and present country specific economic value model results; seek to publish successful HE analyses; and ensure economic value models are structured for multi-country interpretation and application. In addition you will utilise and analyse data from a broad range of sources to both generate and quantify value messages, whilst complying with best practice methodologies and approaches. As you explore opportunities to leverage data and evidence across the portfolio, you will evaluate of existing model usage. You will be expert in the formulation of economic value analysis for relevant patient outcome measures from an evidence-based medicine perspective (e.g. comparative effectiveness research, cost effectiveness analysis), utilising appropriate economic methodologies. Finally you will provide technical support to the EMEA HE Team and keep up-to-date on Med Tech industry HE trends, future prospects and related issues.
Qualifications
 
Masters level degree in Health Economics, Public Health, Health Information Management, Outcomes Research, Biostatistics, Bioinformatics or a related business discipline and at least 5 years in the medical device, pharmaceutical or life sciences industries.
Demonstrated use of methodologies and analysis to understand and create clinical and economic evidence to support new and commercialised products.
Prior experience interfacing with external medical device policy groups (such as NICE) regarding economic modeling plus working knowledge of EU5 reimbursement/healthcare systems.
Hands-on experience with statistical software (e.g. STATA, SAS), as well as expert knowledge of Excel for both modelling as well as graphical output.
Demonstrated ability to communicate, interface and work effectively in a team environment, both virtually pan EU and on-site.
