EMEIA Advisory Communications and Engagement Manager

The function is made up of around 2,000 professionals, working across the Executive and Regions in the following areas of specialism: Brand; Marketing; PR/Media Relations & External Communications; Internal Communications & Employee Engagement; Corporate communications.

The opportunity
If you’re an experienced communications professional who is passionate about delivering strategic, compelling, creative internal communications to help people be successful, then this job may be for you. As the Communications and Engagement Manager for EMEIA Advisory, you will help shape the employee experience for people across 100 different countries in EY’s fastest growing service. This role has been occupied by a contractor so you will have the chance to build on their work and help define the long-term vision for the job working with the EMEIA Advisory BMC Leader.
Your key responsibilities
In this role, you will have responsibility for the internal communications across EMEIA Advisory’s US$4.5b business and to its 24,000 people. This means working with the EMEIA Advisory BMC Leader to develop, implement and measure communication programs in alignment with the Global Advisory strategy and EMEIA Advisory priorities. Preferably based in London, this role may require some travel to support marquee programs or leadership meetings.
Building and maintaining relationships are important in this role as you will work with people from all levels and functions, in and outside of EMEIA and BMC. You will support the EMEIA Managing Partner and Deputy Managing Partner and their leadership team to deliver communications program to help meet business objectives. The role will be responsible for tailoring firm-wide programs for EMEIA Advisory, shaping our brand voice, and delivering powerful writing that sticks. The role involves developing an integrated communications strategy with the BMC leader that aligns initiatives around key business objectives. Projects can range from writing articles for our intranet to showcasing a new solution or people initiative, designing and implementing a change management strategy to coordinating a webcast, partnering with other BMC members to produce creative assets to writing talking points for senior executives and/or refining our team processes, among other projects.
S
uccess in this role rests on the development of a communications and engagement strategy that enables the delivery of a world-class communications programs that effectively inspires and engage audiences. The ability to manage senior stakeholders and translate complex matters into effective messages is critical.
You will be tasked with creating, and managing, an EMEIA-wide internal communications network of communications and engagement leads.  The network will aim to integrate cross-EMEIA engagement campaigns and strategic messaging and drive communications best practice and consistency.
You will also have the opportunity to work on client facing communications and marketing communications - and drive the internal engagement around these.
