Are you an experienced Employability Tutor looking to support learners in achieving their maximum potential?

We are recruiting for an exciting company where you would be joining their growing Skills Division to help deliver their Traineeship programme!

About the Tutor role:

- You will manage a caseload of around 50 Traineeship students and support them to become work-ready with classroom teaching supporting the achievement of employability skills
- The Traineeship programme lasts a minimum of 8 weeks and a maximum of 6 months for each learner enrolled on the programme

Tutor Responsibilities:

- Conduct regular reviews with each trainee
- Monitor and review learners progress
- Provide on-going information, advice and guidance
- Ensure that learners take part in a suitable programme of study for English & Maths FS (functional skills) that enables them to achieve progression
- Deliver employability skills to enable the learner to achieve a recognised qualification
- Ensure that trainees progress onto employment, education or apprenticeships
- Ensure all speaking and listening exams are carried out to a high standard
- Ensure that we achieve the desired success rate for delivery of this programme
- Embed safeguarding, Prevent, British Values, equality and diversity and health and safety into the students/learner's programme

Tutor Requirements:

- Teaching Qualification - Desirable
- Experience in teaching Functional Skills and Employability qualifications - Desirable
- Experienced with conflict management and helping those who may not always be easy to reach - Essential
- Functional Skills Level 2 for Maths or English or GCSE Maths and English A-C - Essential
- Excellent communication, teamwork and organisation skills - Essential
- Experience of OFSTED - Desirable
- Assessors/Verifiers Award D32/34 / A1- Desirable
- Experience of delivering work-based training - Desirable
- Ability to manage projects to ensure that KPIs are met - Desirable
