Job Title: Employee Relations Specialist
Corporate Title: Vice President
Division: Human Resources
The team are responsible for advising managers and the Human Resources (HR) team on how to resolve employee relations issues balancing employment, regulatory, reputational and commercial risks to maintain a performance based culture, Identifying trends in the workplace and work with the business to take steps to prevent further issues arising Support an effective working environment by working with managers and employees to resolve any conflicts.
Managing HR internal investigations, including scoping, evidence gathering, data review and analysis and conduct of interviews with employees at all levels within the organisation, for consideration by relevant stakeholders and disciplinary panels where relevant
Liaising with key stakeholders such as Legal, Audit, Anti Fraud, Bribery and Corruption , Central Employee Relations (ER) and Compliance as well as external counsel, in order to ensure effective completion of investigations and panel decisions
Managing global disciplinary and grievance processes to ensure consistency of approach and outcome as well as key stakeholder engagement
Being a panel member on disciplinary, grievance and redundancy appeals
Identifying key trends and providing solutions to address these on an ongoing basis
Providing advice to HR Business Partner’s, Business Analysts and managers on complex ER issues
Skills and Qualifications:
Experience of managing complex ER issues
In-depth understanding of legal requirements and ER best practice
Experience of dealing with all levels of the organisation including senior HR management, senior control functions and senior business management;
Issue recognition, investigative, interviewing, analytical and sound judgement skills
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, in addition to strong presentation ability and drafting skills
High attention to details
Proficiency in all Microsoft Office applications
Excellent organisational and project management skills
