Tradewind are working with a "Good" rated secondary comprehensive in Welwyn Garden City, seeking to appoint an English teacher for January, teaching all Key Stages with a permanent contract available for the right teacher.
Our client is a large, inclusive school whose students encompass the full spectrum of learners, from those with complex learning needs to Oxbridge applicants. The school are seeking an English Teacher who:
*Is an outstanding teacher who can share good practice within teaching and learning.
*Has a strong understanding of the English curriculum and can teach confidently.
*Can further raise the school's high academic achievement
*Will develop the prominence of English within the school via extra-curricular opportunities and trips.
Our client is situated in Welwyn on a centrally-located site which is currently being renovated for a brand new school building in 2020. The school is very close to the M25 with free on-site parking for all staff, and has good public transport links to Hatfield, St Albans, Welwyn and Stevenage. This school welcomes applications from both NQTs and seasoned teachers, offering both a comprehensive NQT induction programme and frequent opportunities for career progression due to the size of the school. The school has a strong focus on extra-curricular provision and encourages teachers to bring their own interests and passions to the table in order to enrich students' learning outside the classroom.
