Salary to £37,800 dependent on skills and experience

plus 8% bonus and excellent benefits

 

 

BACKGROUND

 

Natural represents already 2/3 of the innovations launched in the UK. As category thought leader, Mars PNUK wants to accelerate its natural agenda in the specialist channel via the integration of James Wellbeloved, the launch of Nutro and the relaunch of Greenies.

 

THE JOB

 

As part of the marketing activation team for natural SPT brands, this role is key to deliver against one of the 3 key pillars of the strategy: advocacy.

The event manager will define and deliver the events strategy and marketing communication strategy with Vets and Breeders to leverage their recommendation for James Wellbeloved, Nutro and Greenies. A close collaboration with the rest of the marketing team, sales and corporate affairs will key for success as well as enthusiasm for project management and passion for pets.

This role will report to the Marketing Activation Controller within the PNUK marketing team.

 

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

 

Develop and execute annual plan for shows and events with clear KPIs
Co-develop marketing communication plan to Vets and Breeders in partnership with sales and corporate affairs
Manage and review budget
Post analysis of each event to make recommendation for the year after
Ownership of 3rd party relationship
 

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

Background in sales, marketing or events management
Worked within Petcare industry or strong passion for pets
