Description

Job title: Executive Assistant
Location: Wilmslow Cheshire
Salary: £22500 - £25000 per annum

This is a multi-faceted role in a growing business which has 16 employees in the UK and 25 employed in our subsidiary in India. The company is an accounting and payroll software company with plans to double in size over the next 12 months. The individual will have a varied role in the business but will include human resources responsibilities as well as being responsible for the Chief Executives diary and other ad-hoc tasks including supporting senior managers and liaising with our software development colleagues in India. The role will be demanding and will suit a career focused individual who is keen to learn and determined to progress.
The job holder will be responsible for diary management, human resources tasks, communicating with clients, policies, the telephone system, petty cash and all aspects of office administration.
This requires excellent communication, planning and organisational skills and the job holder must be constantly monitoring and re-evaluating priorities.

The individual will:
o o Have experience of working in an office environment
o o Understand and respect the need for absolute confidentiality on all matters
o o Have an excellent sense of humour
o o Be very intelligent with at least a Grade B in GCSE maths (which will be verified)
o o be very competent in Microsoft Office, particularly in preparing presentations and using Excel
o o have a very strong bias towards customer service
o o be detail oriented with a pragmatic approach to problem-solving
o o be highly self-motivated and comfortable with challenging others and being challenged
o o be able to work very well (and enjoy working) under pressure and not be a clock watcher
o o be ambitious and keen to embrace new challenges

Principal Responsibilities are to ensure the smooth running of the office and to be an extension of the Chief Executive:
o taking on adhoc projects to assist with delivering the companys strategy
o organising diaries and answering emails and phone calls in a professional manner
o liaising with our colleagues in India and arranging travel and logistics
o acting as the authority on all matters relating to the running of the office environment
o ensure a record of individual movements is maintained and be involved in weekly management meeting
