Paymentshield Finance vacancy - permanent

Finance Operations Assistant

Key responsibilities:

Ensure that financial records are complete, payments are processed correctly and reconciliations are produced accurately.

Assist in the production of accurate and timely financial reporting including:

Monthly trial balances using Microsoft Dynamics 365 and Sage systems

Monthly balance sheet reconciliations

Daily bank reconciliations

Periodic financial reporting

Production of monthly remittance advices to third parties including insurers

Ensuring timely and accurate reconciliation of bank accounts

Processing payments using online banking systems

Point of contact for queries raised by Insurers and Group Treasury

Ad-hoc duties as required

Essential experience/skills:

Good numerical and analytical skills

Experience of working in a Finance function

Good system skills including Microsoft Excel


Able to meet deadlines


AAT or similar Finance qualification

Experience of working in a Financial Services environment

Ability to work in a changing environment

Experience of Dynamics 365 and/or Sage 500 reporting systems
