Market Job Description

Responsibilities include:

- Responsible for the accurate and timely delivery of financial and regulatory reporting of the London Branch of Wells Fargo Bank, N.A., with appropriate review and controls, including
- Bank of England statistical reporting
- US regulatory reporting

- Management of 2 direct reports
- Issue Remediation
- Identification of reporting issues and root cause
- Engagement with relevant departments to address root cause, to facilitate remediation

- Support ongoing project to migrate to new regulatory reporting software (FRS)
- Enhance existing journal processes to populate regulatory reporting systems
- Support EUCT compliance and documentation enhancement
- Partner with wider team to further enhance the control environment
- Drive continual improvement in processes
- Assist the International Controller Team on ad hoc tasks and projects as required to meet wider team goals

Market Skills and Certifications

- Qualified Accountant with strong experience in regulatory control and reporting in a financial services firm.
- Strong Bank of England statistical reporting experience
- US regulatory reporting experience an advantage
- FRS experience an advantage

- Experience of managing a small team
- Experience in regulatory system migrations
- Degree educated
- Strong excel skills
- Intuitive; Fast learner
- Works well within a team
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently within a team structure
- Good problem solving skills
- Good time management & organisational skills
- Good communication skills
