Job Description

Create and maintain a welcoming and professional reception area for all visitors

- Greeting all clients in a welcoming and professional manner
- Serving walk in clients including booking appointments and selling retail and gift vouchers
- Responsible for checking clients in on arrival and processing client payments
- Dealing with all incoming queries including walk in customers, telephone and email enquires and bookings
- Providing clients with refreshments as required
- Responsibility for cleaning reception and bathroom areas and ad hoc cleaning of the salon as required
- Laundry
Carry out client appointments as a member of the Beauty Therapy team

- Conducting client consultations using the ‘Delilah’ cosmetics range
- Carrying out patch tests for eyebrow and eyelash tinting treatments
Provide administrative support to the salon managers

- Maintain client records, including pre-treatment questionnaires and history
- Manage the stockroom – ensuring it is kept tidy and reordering basic supplies as required
- Manage stock levels
- Planning and hosting salon events
- Maintaing spreadsheets and petty cash
- Answering emails and facebook enquiries
- Updating website
Assist with salon marketing and online presence

- Designing and sending out client emails using mailchimps
- Designing and printing leaflets and posters advertising events and promotions
- Updating our social media pages
- Take the lead role in an exciting new project of creating an Affina online shop
Any beauty qualifications or experience would be advantageous.
