Are you looking to develop your skills and experience in governance? We are looking for an enthusiastic individual for an exciting opportunity in the Governance Team. We are a friendly and supportive team, in a fast paced, dynamic and professional environment, who are committed to driving ever increasing high professional standards.

The role is varied and interesting. You will have the opportunity to act as Secretary to University level committees, forums and working groups including managing agenda, taking minutes, and following up actions. You will support the team in its delivery of governance services to the governing body and across the University.

We are looking for someone who:


- is self-motivated;
- is not fazed by constantly changing priorities and demands;
- has a keen interest in governance;
- and is able to communicate effectively with colleagues at all levels of the organisation.

You will have substantial administrative experience including minute-taking; excellent communication and people skills, as well as excellent organisation and planning skills. Your previous experience will enable you to provide professional and proactive administrative support to the Governance Team working in an agile way and at a fast pace to cope with constantly changing priorities.

This position is offered on a permanent contract. Hours of work are full time (36.25 hours).
