We are looking to appoint 2 Graduate Academic Assistants (Accounting) to join the Accounting & Finance Department within the Business School. The role will typically be held by a Middlesex University recent graduate and/or postgraduate, with a degree in Accounting that carried professional exemptions. The successful candidate will contribute to the student learning and teaching experience, and to the research or professional practice and knowledge transfer profiles of the Faculty.


The postholder will work within an established academic team. A core responsibility of the role is to provide continuity of support for student learning on a daily basis throughout the academic year. The responsibilities will include supporting "discipline specific" student learning, teaching and assessment, departmental/service research, knowledge transfer activity under the supervision of academics alongside providing/supporting administrative processes within the department/service. However, activities may vary during the course of the appointment.


This appointment is for a fixed two year contract. The commencement date for these roles is June 2019.
