Reporting to: Site Supervisor
Reporting to the Head Site Assistant, the Group Site Assistant will assist in the running of the Studio.
A Group Site Assistant is key to the day to day running of the studio and play a crucial part in enabling us to provide excellent customer service.
Not only that, they are also responsible for maintaining of a clean and tidy site, which becomes increasingly more challenging as occupancy levels rise.
Responsible for the furnishing of all Studio facilities in line with “style guide” expectations.
Monitor and maintain a high standard of cleanliness throughout the studio site.
Stage, gantry and workshop cleaning.
Responsibility for door/parking signs.
Checking of studio facilities before and after use.
Assist in the moving of tenant or production companies and any other duties deemed appropriate by line management.
Vigilance and general admin, maintenance and security reporting i.e. insecurity of buildings, damage and skip removal.
Report on neglected areas.
Reporting and removal of fly tipping and scrap items left on the studio lot.
Assisting with ad hoc gardening tasks as required.
Snow and ice clearance/gritting when required.
Monitoring, transporting and emptying of wheelie bins into on site compactor when required.
Furnishing facilities/office set up.
Collect rubbish from offices when appropriate as per customer or studio management request.
Co-ordination and maintaining of Studio Asset tracking system.
Reporting on and closing off on jobs on the Studio Work management system via PDA’s.
Phone/office cover- give out basic site information and answer queries as required, or offer alternative help.
Maintain, clean and report any issues with electric vehicles.
Report on site problems to the Site Supervisor or Operations team.
On and off-site errands.
Report or solve any issues/requirements.
Reporting of damage to studio facilities, fixtures and fittings.
Reporting security issues, such as illegally parked cars/ blocked fire hydrants etc.
Observe the Studio regulations at all times.
Observing and complying of company health and safety policy and practices.
Providing cover in the Operations Office and Post Room when required.
Any other duties as deemed appropriate by Studio Management.
Personality: Self driven, results orientated and a confident communicator. Responsible attitude, dependable and punctual. Keen to develop their own skills and be a key team player.
Personal Situation: Able to commute reliably to the office bases and work between sites, Pinewood Studios and Shepperton Studios. Working hours will vary depending on Company requirements.
Computer skills: Must be adept in use of MS Office 2010 or later, particularly Outlook, Excel and Word, Internet and email.
Literacy and Numeracy: Good literacy and numeracy skills.
Business Skills: Must be confident and professional when dealing with customers, face-to-face and via telephone/emails.
Salary: £19,000.00 per annum plus company benefits
