Hardware Support EngineerSalary- £23K per annumNorthampton My client's IT Team are looking for a trained Hardware engineer to help with their current SSD and Windows 10 upgrade program. An ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of Hardware and software experience in the field. They will need to be able to work automatously, have a full clean driving licence and be willing to travel throughout the term of the project. The idea candidate will have strong communication skills and be well presented when visiting our estate. The project will comprise of the following elements,Upgrading 4/5 desktops and laptops to Windows 10 and upgrading the hard drive to an SSD, installation of Office, Antivirus and various apps back on to users machinesAsset tagging the new machinesUpgrade existing servers from Server 2008 R2 to Server 2016Backing up and restoring folder shares and permissionsInstalling and resetting up printer shares DBS Check will need to be carried out prior to commencement.
