You are an experienced clinician (RGN) and have a keen interest in quality of care for older people.You are already in a care leadership position in a care home and so you are familiar with the CQC Fundamental Standards. You see your future career progressing towards a Registered Manager role ideally in a non-for profit environment.

The Royal Naval Benevolent Trust runs Pembroke House in Gillingham,Kent, which provides nursing and personal care for 55 older members of the Royal Naval family.

This new role of Head of Care will provide clinical leadership to all nursing and care staff and will work closely with the Registered Manager, also a nurse.

You will inspire and lead the nursing team to advance their own practice and management skills to engender a culture of excellence amongst the entire team.
