Experian is seeking a passionate technologist to run our Partnership delivery teams. These teams will be delivering multi-million pound projects to bring large strategic business partners to our cloud platform.
A servant leader setting technical strategy, reviewing architecture and creating a high-performance team culture within Experian Consumer Services in the UK.
The Head of Software Development is a key leadership role within the UK&I Consumer Services division. The role sits on the Technology Leadership Team for Consumer Services and the Leadership Team for the Affinity value-stream in our modern matrix structure. 
The Head of Software Development will be responsible for:
Technical Strategy & Architecture
Defining a long-term strategy for technology within the guidelines of the UK&I Consumer Services platform (Corvette)
Making technology choices to support the growth of our partnership platform
Driving our technical roadmap for Continuous Delivery
Managing a roadmap for onboarding new partners
Bringing technical innovation into the delivery teams in balance with efficient feature delivery
Finding longer term opportunities for technical differentiation over competitors
Building relationships with partners to add incremental value to the partner platform
Governance & communication
Managing the technical delivery of each SAFe Programme Increment and the preceding planning increment to continuously improve levels of predictability, maintain the highest levels of product quality and balance feature delivery with the technical roadmap 
Managing expenditure of technology OPEX and CAPEX budgets for all Partnership activities
Building excellent relationships with stakeholders across the value stream and associated internal and external partners

Technical Leadership
Building a high performing product delivery function consisting of horizontally scalable feature teams located in Nottingham
Setting, training and maintaining high standards of technical quality, security and maintainability so that high levels of new/enhanced feature development can be sustained
Coaching very high levels of adoption of the Scaled Agile Framework and facilitating a relentless continuous improvement culture
Finding advantageous synergies in technology choices and delivery approaches to share with other value-streams
·         Member of Technical Leadership Team:

o  Bringing technical strategy and new advancements that could work across all technology functions to keep Experian Consumer Services as a destination for fintech product development talent in the UK
o  Taking the Experian Consumer Services approach to product delivery to other parts of Experian globally to evangelise our technology platform and agile approach to delivery
o  Supporting technologists across the department in their personal and professional growth, helping us grow a people centric culture with excellent levels of engagement and clear career growth and succession
o  Developing Experian Consumer Services’ reputation as an employer of technical talent, representing us in the market at community events, conferences and written articles/blogs
·         Integration Planning & Implementation

·      Experian continues to pursue opportunities for achieving global scale with our best products and services. Develop a global presence for partnerships and learn from experiences in other markets and territories.
·      Keep aligned with B2B product development to understand where there may be other synergies.
·      Experian also continues to review opportunities for inorganic growth.
