Our client is the UK division of a global multi-billion Pound business with a proud history of delivering innovative products and excellent service to the UK's trades people via B2B trade outlets and online.

The business is entering an exciting period of growth and change and require an industry leading expert to champion the digital strategy element of this transformation. Your primary objective will be to work across every function of the business to create and implement the digital sales and marketing strategy.

You will need to be a highly commercial digital / web expert with OMNI channel experience as part of a full marketing mix, and the ability to utilise social, disruptive, traditional and technical skills as well as SEO and PPC to raise the profile of the business and deliver meaningful communication to new and existing clients alike.

This role will be hands on, both tactically and strategically so you will need to roll your sleeves up and get things done quickly and effectively. There is a significant budget in place but you will be tasked with deciding where, when and how this should be utilised.

You will report directly to the new Managing Director, supporting his multi-year plan for digital transformation. This role starts with strategy creation and will own the implementation, review and evolution of both digital marketing as well as in store and more traditional marketing methods.

The ideal candidate will be able demonstrate a track record of driving significant digital change in a business that had not fully embraced this approach to their marketing before your arrival but now has a significant digital presence and has online embedded in their DNA
