Lewisham and Greenwich Trust provides hospital and community services for more than 526,000 people across south east London. We put patients at the heart of everything we do, which is reflected in the positive feedback we receive. We are a friendly and dynamic place to work, with high levels of job satisfaction and excellent transport links serving our two hospitals – University Hospital Lewisham and Queen Elizabeth Hospital in Greenwich.

We are seeking dedicated, motivated people to help us provide high quality care to our local communities. In return for your hard work, we offer well-established, structured mentoring and staff development packages to support you in your role.

We are an extremely busy ED ,integrated with our Urgent Care Centre (UCC) and an 11 bedded Clinical decision Unit (CDU) providing a first class environment for patients and staff

The department moves at a fast pace and is often challenging. but it provides a stimulating, rewarding and supportive environment in which to work. We treat and care for patients presenting with varied and diverse mix of clinical presentations and needs.

We currently have substantive vacancies for HCA’s to join us. Working within ED, UCC and CDU you will work closely with the ED and wider Multidisciplinary teams.

You should be committed to the ongoing development of Emergency care and to the service we provide to our patients and staff. In return you will gain experience in all areas, within a progressive department that has numerous opportunities for development.

You will be well lead and supported within our team and by our full time practice development nurse.

Please note that the as part of the application process for non-medical roles, you will need to complete a short values based pre-application question. Your responses to the question will impact on whether or not you are able to successfully continue with your application. Please have a look on our website to find out more information before you start the pre-application question. If you are unsuccessful with the pre-application question, it means that you are not in harmony with our values. We thank you for your interest in Lewisham and Greenwich NHS Trust.
