KEY PLAYER REQUIRES PROFESSIONAL HGV / LGV WORKSHOP FOREMAN
Role: HGV / LGV Workshop Foreman / Supervisor
Salary: £17-18 per hour + Pension, Enhanced O/T, Inventive, Benefits

Previous roles may have been: Workshop Foreman, Lead LGV Technician, Team Leader, Workshop Supervisor, Senior HGV Fitter, Workshop Manager
- HGV / LGV Workshop Foreman
You will be able to and implement strict cost controls.
You will deliver a motivated and engaged workshop team and an effective service, managing all resources and staff at your disposal to ensure servicing, and reported defects are promptly repaired to minimised vehicle downtime.
You will manage a team of 5 of HGV Fitters / Vehicle Technicians / LGV Engineers
You will control all health and safety systems, COSHH, LOLER and PUWER
- HGV / LGV Workshop Manager
You will have experience of team management, budget management or cost control and have a City and Guilds in HGV Maintenance Engineering / Vehicle Technician
Ideally you will have a Class 2 HGV / LGV License or higher to be able to test vehicles
Strong IT, communication, negotiation and presentation skills will be required.
You MUST be committed to inspiring and enforcing a positive Health and Safety ethic within the team of HGV Fitters, LGV Technicains, ensuring the correct resources for a safe working environment are made available.
IOSH & NEBOSH are desirable.
You will also have experience working with COSHH, LOLER and PUWER.
Previous experience: Workshop Foreman, HGV Fitter or LGV Technician that has managed a team or workshop working on Class 1 and Class 2 vehicles ideally with attached equipment such as Tippers, Grabs, RoRo's, Hook Loaders, Compactors etc.
You may have worked on commercial vehicles in Plant Hire, Waste Management, Aggregates, Quarry, Recycling, Building Supplies, Tankers / ADR, Dairy, Cement, petroleum, Chemical, Skips, Cranes, Haulage, Transport, Scrap Metal, Military, Forestry, Road Surfacing, Highways Maintenance
- engineers and technicians
