Description

This school opened in 2005 and is an all-through academy from age 3 to 18, delivering excellent education from toddlers into young adults. The school has excellent achievement for children at the heart of their community. The school is part of a federation that has over 400 teachers across it that share ideas and practises to constantly develop and grow within the school.
The school has a vibrant atmosphere which has a diverse demographic. The ethos and values of the school remain a focus point to cultivate aspiration amongst the students and ensure that an 'every child matters' approach is filtered amongst the school and trust. The school is well led, and are open and honest about the advantages of teaching at the school and also the school's weaknesses; senior leaders are devoted to constantly improving the school in every aspect.
Behaviour at the school is no longer an issue. With a new Head Teacher coming into post in 2013 over the last 6 years' behaviour strategies have been put in place to improve behaviour tremendously. The school are now in a position where they are seeking to take their achievements in GCSE and A Level to the next level with the majority of staff and students on-board to doing that. The kids come to school wanting to learn and achieve. This is evidenced as the current sixth forms achievement is very strong.
The schools current History Teacher is relocating, thus them needing a History Teacher to join an already motivated department.
Whether you are a trainee, newly or recently qualified teacher, a more established and experienced teacher, or a middle leader, the school in question provide the ideal environment for you to develop as a professional and be amongst some of the best teachers in the profession.
