Home Therapies Community Nurse Band 5

Renal Home Therapies is seeking a committed and enthusiastic Band 5 Staff Nurse, for the Home Therapies Department based at the Royal Stoke Kidney Unit within the University Hospital of North Midland .

As a Band 5 Community Clinical Nurse Specialist you will take ownership of care programmes for dialysis patients with end stage renal disease or acute renal failure; You will work closely with specialists in the field you will provide stable clinical care, emotional support and independence for patients.

Your goal is to teach and prepare the Dialysis Patient to undertake their own treatment therapy at home.

Teaching in the Unit operate Monday to Friday with a view to expanding in the future.

Previous experience in haemodialysis or peritoneal dialysis desirable but not essential
