Salary: £64,400 - £77,300 + bonus + car/car allowance + PMI

We are excited to announce several new opportunities to support this new business model, including this role for an experienced HR Business Partner who will be responsible for supporting and influencing the Director of Distribution Operations, South to create and execute the people strategy to deliver Distribution's business goals and objectives. Distribution is a regulated business with approximately 1,800 FTE based across central South England. It is responsible for the efficient and effective operation of the LV network.
Working at a senior level, you'll use your commercial business partnering skills to provide strong leadership, influence, advice, coaching and counsel to the Director of Distribution Operations, South and his leadership team, whilst also being generally supportive of the wider Distribution, SEPD colleagues and leadership. You'll work collaboratively to ensure that all people aspects of organisational change are delivered in an effective and efficient manner to achieve strategic outcomes that support business improvement goals.
You'll partner with the business to understand their commercial business strategies, for example, supporting them with the design of the regional operating model blueprints and implementing these across each region within Distribution Operations, South. Key activities will include the identification of strategic capabilities, delivery of talent and succession processes and ensuring relevant and timely learning and development interventions, the development and provision of tailored reward frameworks, implementation of organisational design activity and engagement with professional and shared HR services.
As a key member of the extended HR leadership community, you'll take a proactive role in driving the inclusion and diversity strategy across the overall Distribution business and be a role model for the Company's safety standards.
What do I need?
Ideally qualified to degree level, you'll have demonstrable business partnering experience coupled with extensive generalist HR experience across all aspects of HR, ideally with experience across more than one sector. This includes proven experience in Reward, Organisational Design, Talent Management and Employee Relations.
This is a high-profile role where you'll need to build effective relationships and confidently influence senior leaders to shape the business agenda. With your CIPD qualification (or equivalent) you'll bring up-to-date experience of employment law, and how it applies in employee relations situations. You'll be familiar working with shared services / expert areas to deliver business goals.
