Description

The University of St Andrews is a research-intensive university at which Research and Innovation Services (RIS) supports activities across the institution under the leadership of the Vice-Principal (Research & Innovation).

This role is in the research integrity, ethics and governance part of the Research Policy & Ethics function of RIS; currently based in College Gate but likely to move to Eden Campus (Guardbridge) in early 2021. The role will focus on supporting the ethical review process for research involving human participants, their tissue or data, and will be crucial in the development and implementation (and co-ordination thereof) of an updated process and system, as well as undertaking additional tasks (more details are available in the further particulars). The role will report to and work closely with the Senior Research Policy and Integrity Manager, and also work closely with the Home Office Liaison Officer and Research Policy Officer. Applicants must have a University degree (or equivalent), administrative experience, excellent communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills, and good computer skills.
